Create Your First Component

Learn how to create a component using Patchwork’s AI-powered builder.

Step 1: Open the Component Builder

1. Log in to your Patchwork dashboard
2. Select your organization
3. Click “New Component” button

Step 2: Describe Your Component

In the prompt field, describe what you want:

Create a pricing card with a title, price display,
features list, and call-to-action button

Click “Generate Component”.

Step 3: Preview and Edit

The component builder shows:

• Preview pane
• HTML editor
• CSS editor
• JavaScript editor

Step 4: Publish

1. Click “Versions” button
2. Enter a changelog
3. Click “Create Version”
4. Click “Publish”

Your component is now live! 🎉
